Bar Lazy J

Dude Ranch Employment

The Bar Lazy J guest ranch is a great place to spend the summer, meet new people, work hard, and have lots of fun. If you enjoy serving people, your time at the dude ranch will prove to be an invaluable experience. Following are some personal characteristics we are looking for in our staff:

Do you like being with people?

Do you enjoy hard work?

Ranch work consists of long and hard days.

Are you willing to learn?

Do you have a positive attitude?

Are you flexible and willing to help out wherever you are needed?

Are you enthusiastic about helping guests' enjoy their vacation?

Can you involve yourself in our main objective of insuring that every guest has a great vacation?

We do not tolerate the use of narcotics or illegal drugs and do not allow drinking alcoholic beverages on the ranch.

We do expect certain standards regarding personal appearance and dress. Staff is expected to be with guests for certain evening activities (country dancing, campfire, volleyball games, staff show). The dude ranch is a most enjoyable place. The climate is wonderful...cool mornings, warm afternoons and cool, star filled evenings.
